for those of you who don't know this already, i am a FIRM believer in keeping our christmas tree up all year round. i tend to decorate it according to season and often change the lights to white in the spring and summer months.i just love lights so much.
as you can see, we have yet to decorate.....
we've got time:)
but as for music.....
well, it's November,and in my book that screams to me
"Play the Christmas Jams!!!!"
sufjan stevens "Songs for Christmas" is in a complete tie for 1st place with the other christmas album that will NEVER EVER get old

We did that one year with a smaller tree. When springtime came we decorated it with birds, nest, and flowers from the craft store. :)I love how the lights give off such a warm glow in the evening...

When I met my husband I thought he was kind of a cocky jerk - then I went to his apt for the first time and he had a brown Christmas tree (real tree) in his livingroom - it was March- that him and his buddy were too bummed that it had died to toss it - he was so sentimental about that damn tree that I totally changed my mind about him .... love your tree Rachel!
